) YEARS since I graduated in High School in 1975. De Ocampo is my Alma Mater, this is where my colorful life began.
What a coincidence, I was born in De Ocampo Memorial Hospital in January 1959 and 12 years thereafter, I found myself enrolled as a High School Freshman in De Ocampo Memorial Schools (now De Ocampo Memorial Colleges - DOMC) just within the same Hospital compound where I was born.
This picture on the right must have been taken several years after we graduated from High School in 1975.
This looks very different from the time we moved in to the place, and after we graduated.
But did you know that the building to where the present DOMC building now stands used to be a Kentucky Fried Chicken House? Ha-ha... yes, from our main school building in Nagtahan, we transferred to this school location (sorry, but I can no longer recall what specific year that was) still with that original KFC architectural roofing design you can see from the photo on the left. Isn't that awesome?And just how can I ever forget "The Hikers"? We often hike places, with Roxas Boulevard as our favorite route until we reach the Cultural Center of the Philippines. We do this during weekends.
